Sing, Connect, Thrive: Join Our Community Choirs

In the heart of our South Downs villages, two vibrant community choirs have blossomed, offering joy, friendship, and a shared love of music. Born out of a desire to uplift spirits and foster connection in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, these choirs welcome everyone—regardless of musical background or ability.

🎶 Trinity C4 – Colden Common Community Choir

  • When: Tuesdays, 7:45–9:15 PM

  • Where: Holy Trinity Church, Colden Common

  • Led by: Stephanie Jayne Amies

Founded by Rev. Damon Draisey, Trinity C4 was established to support the wellbeing of local residents through music. The choir has grown to over 40 members, singing a mix of pop, rock, and musical theatre songs. Each session includes a 30-minute social with tea and coffee, followed by gentle warm-ups and singing. Performances are held twice a year in the beautiful Holy Trinity Church. The choir is non-auditioned and open to all adults.

🎤 St Andrew’s Voices – Owslebury Community Choir

  • When: Thursdays, 7:30–9:00 PM (term-time only)

  • Where: St Andrew’s Church, Owslebury

  • Led by: Stephanie Jayne Amies

Following the success of Trinity C4, St Andrew’s Voices was launched around Easter 2024. This new choir has quickly grown to over 25 members and held its first public performance in July. Like its sister choir, it is non-auditioned, open to all adults, and focuses on contemporary music. Sessions are lively, inclusive, and a great way to meet new people. stephaniejayneamies.com
